Responding to the election outcome, the Equal Justice Center is mobilizing to defend justice for immigrants and protect the integrity of our communities from the new threats they may now face.
Working alongside our vital community partners, the EJC is already helping organize, lead, and staff an ongoing series of legal information and assistance clinics for immigrant families. Our first immigrant fairness clinic was launched in Austin only ten days after the election. Additional clinics will be conducted almost every week for the foreseeable future and are being planned for a variety of cities across Texas.
The EJC plans to continue doing all we can up to the limits of our resources to help immigrant families and workers protect themselves, the contributions they make to our communities, and the fair treatment they deserve.
